From Hastings: From the sea front take the A259 to Rye. At Ore Village just after the pedestrian crossing turn right on the Fairlight Road, follow this road out of Ore towards Fairlight. Pass Fairlight church on the right after approximately 2 miles and then continue down the hill (stop to take in the view over Rye Bay if you wish) the road continues to wind down the hill, then straightens out and White Cottage is about half way down on the right hand side.

From Rye: Take the A259 to Hastings after approximately 2 miles you reach three bridges, take the left turn on the corner opposite the garage to Winchelsea Beach, go through the village and follow the road through Pett Level. It will then start to climb towards Fairlight. Stay on the road and pass the left turn to Fairlight Village, continue up the hill and White Cottage is on your left after 1/4 mile.
